Two Giveaway Tuesday - Giveaway #2

Our second giveaway this evening is also a good one.  I've done CSN store giveaways before and I love it because it is truly a versitale giveaway.  There is literally something for everyone because they have over 200 online stores.  Just imagine all of the amazing Christmas gifts you could get - toys for the kids, furniture, a flat screen tv stands, or even a cute pair of shoes for yourself (even Santa's helpers need little gifts too)!

CSN has been so easy to work with and this time they have offered one of my blog readers $65 at any one of their 200 stores.  Just imagine how far that can go for your holiday decor or for presents under the tree.

To enter just leave a comment with the favorite holiday present you have ever recieved!

For an extra entry you can do any of the following things.  Please leave an additional comment for every entry.

1.  Follow the Lutheran Geek on Facebook (1 entry)
2.  Follow me on Twitter (1 entry)
3.  Follow this blog on the left (1 entry)

I hope $65 can go a long way to helping make a Christmas bright for one of my readers.  Merry Christmas blogland!

CSN will provide the winner with a gift code for $65.  I did not recieve anything for this giveaway, I just enjoy giving things away.  This giveaway runs until Tuesday Dec 14th at 9pm.  Which is plenty of time to still get something under the tree by Christmas!

My horse was the best Christmas present ever! Still is the best thing that has happened to me . . . okay, except my kids and my hubby. But the horse complains a lot less!

The truth is that the Twinstroms were my best holiday gift ever. Had they been just one, my due date was January 21. They were 2, and therefore came early on December 29 last year. They have brought an abundance of other gifts with them that I had never anticipated!

I remember loving my Cabbage Patch doll. Recently, I was pretty excited about receiving the Justin Timberlake concert DVD the year after I had just seen him in concert. Pretty dorky, huh? :) but the absolute best was 2 years ago, my parents brought us all the Mexico for the holiday. Loved it.

My favorite Christmas gift was a bike I got when I was 8. It wasn't so much about the bike, but about what my parents went through to get it that I now know!

I think the best christmas present I got has actually been, and its stilly, but a tiny blue stuffed elephant (named Olliephont)
My guy and I went and saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow on one of our very first dates. In that movie there is a tiny elephant which made me squeal with delight. I wanted one. I talked about it for a few hours.
A few months later at Christmas I unwrapped a tiny blue elephant that sits with my CPAP machine. It was probably the most thoughtful gift I ever got. It did not cost much, but I cried, it was lovely.

Wow, that's a hard one. I've had many memorable gifts but if I had to narrow it down, it was actually a gift given over several years. I had admired the Willow Tree Nativity. My grandmother had noticed it, unbeknownst to me and gave me my first piece one Christmas. Then every year after that, I got another piece. I loved that I didn't get it all at once. I loved how it grew over the years. First I had the holy family, then the shepherds, then the three wisemen, followed by the angels and other pieces. Over the years, it was like the story of Christmas, everyone arrived slowly and with much joy and reverence. It is my favorite gift because it gives me such joy and peace to put it up every year. It is my favorite part of decorating for the holidays.

Ooh Ooh! I just did a sermon kinda like this, except the question was most memorable Christmas gift. And ended up proving the point that the most memorable gifts are more about the relationships than the item.

Mine was a sleeping bag. We all got them that year, and we didn't really need them. Mom thought we did. But what made them awesome was we all hopped in, and we had a race around the house. Potato-sack style. You remember my house -- from the living room, up a step into the dining room, around through the kitchen, past the fireplace, and back down into the living room. Keep in mind the youngest of us was 16! It was a lot of fun for a sleeping bag...
