Did you read Gilead? It was beautiful; I think you would like it. If you count parenting books, I'll bet it will be no time at all before you hit 50! I'm borrowing the challenge for myself this year, hope you don't mind!

Fifty?! Sheesh. I admire you. I'm into the Twilight Saga right now. It's a total guilty pleasure, what with the teenage romance and all...

Liz, I'm up for this. I go in phases, but right now am in a reading groove. I'll have to read your former post to see how exactly it works. Thanks for the fun challenge.

I second the vote for Gilead, and the author just published a sequel to it - pick them both up! Also, People of the Book is worth your time.

I'm stuck right now - working on The Power and the Glory but just losing momentum. Not sure what that's about. Probably has something to do with new shows on the DVR, especially Lost, right? Hopefully I'll pick up the pace soon!

Have you read anything by Orson Scott Card? I'm reading his Women of Genesis" series right now...he's written one book each on Sarah, Rebekkah, and Rachel. I'm reading Sarah right now, and I'm really enjoying it.

How did you like The Cellist of Sarajevo? I've been meaning to read that one. And what did you think of The Lost Symbol?
