Boring.

A dialogue from last night...

L: I wonder if any one has read my last blog. I don't have any comments.

C: Maybe it is because your blog is boring.

L: Boring?

C: Well, boring is the wrong word I suppose...but you lack the big draws...like babies!

L: So can I get a baby?

C: You have cats...

Glad I'm not the only one that struggles with "blog insecurity!" I have to remind myself that my personal worth is not based on how many unique visitors my blog has had or how many comments people have left.

For the record, I find your blog to be interesting, refreshing, and insightful. =)

I'm afraid I have to disagree with your husband, as your blog is not boring! Having a baby doesn't make one's blog more exciting ... it just makes its author less able to devote a lot of time to responding to friends' blogs! ;-)

Your blog is not boring...but for the record, cats are boring. Get a dog.

I also have to disagree with your husband. I don't find your blog boring. However, I'm sure my husband probably said something similar when I asked a couple of years ago if I could have a baby. Boys.

Nope, not boring at all! Although we could do with more kitty pictures. ;)

Tell Chris that he is crazy! I love your blog cuz I feel that I am connected to you even though we live so far apart. I feel like even though we don't see each other or talk to each other as often as I'd like, I still feel like I know what is going on with you! I love you!

Thanks guys! It is good to know that I'm not the only one with blog insecurity and to know I'm not boring.

Chris thinks he was taken a bit out of context, but I've assured him that I'm not insulted and not quite ready for a baby regardless of what my internal clock says.

Another insecure blogger weighing in...I think that time is one of my major impediments, both in terms of making my blog more interesting and in visiting and commenting on other people's blogs.

I keep wanting to put myself on a schedule of maybe five or six blogs a day...just run a random circuit of friends and webring folks and scatter comments about.
